Trish is a freelance makeup artist who has contributed to many international and local TV commercials and media productions. She is known for her work ethic and calm professional disposition, while being passionate about makeup, her industry and all aspects that come with being a makeup artist.
Trish loves using make up to enhance natural beauty and individuality. “Women want to look beautiful. They want to look fresh and flawless. “
Her vast knowledge of the industry includes all the latest trends of grooming and styling, as well as stage makeup & special effects.
Her career spans over the last 30 years, beginning when she trained with renowned makeup artists Glenda Ferguson and Meryl Mckenzie at the School of Makeup & Design in 1989.
Splitting her time between South Africa and Germany during the 90’s, Trish worked on fashion shoots and TVC’s. This included doing all the MNET presenters faces such as Ashley Hayden, Suanne Braun and Doreen Morris, as well as working with celebrities such as Anneline Kriel.
Subsequently Trish has worked in stills with various magazines like Cosmopolitan, Fair Lady and Italian Rolling Stones as well as on many TVC’s with International and South African teams.
In 2019 she won best creative makeup at Bokeh Film Festival for “Reimagine” directed by Ian Greyvenstein
Trish is a team player and is used to working closely with producers and directors. In her words: “Makeup is my passion and together with being extremely organized, I am willing to accept a challenge - putting every effort into producing the best possible look for the job required”.
Based in Cape Town, Trish travels all over Southern Africa for shoots.
When she is not at work or being a mother, you will find her trawling the makeup stands in shopping centers obsessing and keeping up to date with what’s out there.
